Shipping/Receiving Manager

Sierra Pacific Packaging is a premier Folding Carton Company located in Northern California. We produce high quality Folding Cartons and Litho-Laminate Corrugated for the Food and Beverage Sector.
 
We currently have an immediate opening for a Shipping & Receiving Manager. This person will be required to plan material needs, shipping schedules, warehouse personnel and keep Client Services and Production aware of activity. This person will work closely with our Client Services and department managers to optimize workflow and personnel.
 
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Shipping & Receiving management and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Prior knowledge of the Folding Carton Industry is desirable, but not required. Prioritization with an appropriate sense of urgency and self-motivation are critical aspects of this position. Strong computer skills and attention to detail are a must. The ability to interact on a constant basis with colleagues and clients in a friendly and professional manner is important. This person will have a flexible, problem-solving attitude to help serve our client needs and respond to production and material restraints.
