Sierra Pacific Packaging (SPPI) was founded in 1995 as a start-up. We targeted the rapidly emerging craft-brew beer industry as our initial customer base. Our first production facility was built from the ground-up adjacent to the Oroville, CA Airport, a site we continue to occupy today. We designed our factory with a vision for growth and have subsequently added over 100,000 sq. ft. of production facility housing two sheeters, multiple format litho-offset presses, several die-cutters, multiple high-speed folder-gluers, a single-face corrugated laminator, a full service digital pre-press department, sampling and engineering department, a finished-goods warehouse, our corporate offices and many other production support facilities.

SPPI is proud to have built and retained a terrific sales, client service and operational staff. We strive to produce superior quality product and provide unrivaled service at a competitive price, for all our customers, no matter the size or tenure. We have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience that is second-to-none in the converting industry.

Today we employ over 160 people, have on-going business relationships with 400+ unique customers, produce over 2,000 individual SKU’s of short to long run durations, and are strategically positioned and equipped for double-digit compounded growth.

Sierra Pacific Packaging is proud to be a progressive component of an environmentally friendly industry. The folding carton converting industry has and will continue to be progressive in its use of sustainable methods and materials. 100% of our products are made from bio-based feedstock, trees. In North America today more trees are planted than harvested (5:1) making a folding carton much more environmentally sensitive than products made from non-sustainable resources such as oil. Another major accomplishment of our industry is the use of recycled materials; we are pleased to report that we have converted many of our customers to 100% recycled paperboard at a very cost-effective rate while sustaining or even improving quality and reliability. We are committed to migrate existing and new customers to fully recycled material whenever possible. Sierra Pacific Packaging is routinely rated by the American Institute of Baking (AIB) and currently enjoys a rating of Excellent. In addition, we have been awarded for our customer service, quality and overall reliability by our customers!
